HIGH SCHOOL MME TEST

In March, all juniors are required to take the MME, which has replaced the Michigan Education Assessment Program (MEAP). The MME is the test which will qualify high school students to receive the Michigan Promise Scholarship ($4000). On day one of testing, each junior will take the ACT (American College Test) plus writing. The ACT is a requirement for students applying for admission to any four-year college or university. On day two of testing, each junior will take the WorkKeys assessment, which will test them on employability skills such as reading for information, locating information and applied mathematics. The Michigan Mathematics, Science and Social Studies testing will take place on day three.
