Scholarship Opps

To date, they have granted more than $12.7 million in scholarships to graduating seniors throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. In 2009 alone, they awarded $1,060,000.00 in scholarships.

BURGER KING Scholars awards are $1,000 each and may be used for educational expenses, such as tuition fees and books, during the first year of college or post-secondary vocational/technical school.

BURGER KING Scholars Program criteria

Applicant must be a high school senior who:

-Maintains a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher

-Works part-time for a minimum of 10 hours per week or 40 weeks per year

-Be actively involved in community service activities

-Demonstrates financial need (1040 form required)

-Plans to enroll in an accredited two/or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school by Fall of the application year.
